Wolsingham teenager to help in Zimbabwe

18 year old Katie Gledhill is preparing for a three-months visit to Zimbabwe where she will take part in the International Citizen Service (ICS) and stay with a host family.  She will concentrate broadly on sexual reproductive health issues which could be anything from HIV to female empowerment.  Although ICS is government funded, Katie is required to raise £800, the money going towards the charity, ‘Restless Development’s functioning in the UK.  She has a JustGiving page where anyone can send her a donation or you can phone her on 01388 526775.  Katie has won a deferred place at Edinburgh University to allow her to take part in this project.
